Victorian Ladies Sitting Chair
An elegant yet beautifully proportioned chair, making it a sophisticated touch to your room. The legs gently taper, drawing your eye to the floral cross stitched upholestry. Whilst this is not the original fabric ( this does remain on the back of the chair) there is definite signs of age with gently fraying on both sections. The head of the chair bears a wonderful art nouvuea timber inlaid design. All timber is in excellent original condition and has a deep, rich patina only found with generations of tender, loving care.
The chair stands 100cm tall (43cm to seat) x 44cm wide x 50cm deep approx.
